Also known as the Waygate Technologies Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge, GE Inspection Technologies Krautkramer CL5 Thickness Gauge is a 0.13mm to 500mm ultrasonic thickness gauge that offers
a resolution of 0.001 mm. CL5 thickness gauge offers several measurement
and display modes that include: Normal, Minimum Capture, Maximum Capture,
Differential and Rate of Reduction, and so on.
GE CL5 thickness gauge is designed with three soft keys directly under the unit's display which activate the functions shown on the display menus. Users can also easily place all data recordings and set-up information on a removable SD memory card.
The CL5 is used for precise thickness measurements of metal, steel and plastic components whose complex geometry often makes them difficult to inspect with conventional gauges. It is able to ensure the ultrasonic response by using the Snapshot A-Scan, and verify the accuracy of the test as components become more complex in shape. The user-friendly design of the CL5 provides intuitive operation, with easy to understand on-screen prompts, with no need for dedicated keys.
This standard is in good condition. For thickness and linearity calibration of curved surfaces.
